About

The Maurice D. Hinchey Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area (NHA), which is managed by the Hudson River Valley Greenway (HRVG), seeks to partner with municipalities and nonprofit organizations to sponsor events that reinforce the NHA’s mission to interpret, preserve and celebrate the nationally significant cultural and natural resources of the Hudson River Valley. 

 

In addition to reinforcing the NHA’s mission, events should deliver tourism and economic benefits to the communities in which they are held and encourage local and regional partnerships. 

 

The Event Sponsorship application is closed for 2026. Check back in October for 2027 opportunities. 

 

About the NHA


Eligibility

  • Events must occur between April 1 and December 31, 2026.
  • Events must occur within the boundaries of the NHA. 
  • Events must exemplify a NHA theme (Nature & Culture, Freedom & Dignity, Corridor of Commerce).
  • Priority consideration will be given to events that celebrate America250.
