About
The Hudson River Valley Greenway’s Conservancy Trail Grant program is dedicated to helping create and rehabilitate locally owned land and water trail routes. Funding supports a wide range of projects that connect downtowns, historic sites, open spaces, and access to the Hudson River within the Greenway Area, including feasibility studies, engineering, design, and capital construction.

Eligibility
Municipalities and nonprofits are eligible to apply for Conservancy Trail Grants. Priority will be given to projects that connect existing sections of trail and include trails that are designated as part of the Greenway Trail System.
Available Funding per Project
Feasibility Study – Up to $50,000
Engineering & Design – Up to $75,000
Capital Construction – Up to $250,000
